Lab-Grown Diamond Association Revamps as IDGA 2.0

2021年11月12日

Morrisville, N.C.—The International Grown Diamond Association has revamped itself.

Originally formed in 2016 to serve and support the lab-grown diamond industry, the nonprofit has relaunched as IDGA 2.0.

With that comes a new website, a broader base in its board of advisors, development and distribution of consumer point-of-sale and promotional materials, sales associate training, and the establishment of an international chapter network.

For more information, visit TheIGDA.org.

The move comes as more retailers are stocking lab-grown diamonds and the category continues its growth; one diamond industry analyst recently predicted lab-grown diamonds will constitute 12 percent of the diamond jewelry market by 2025 (up from this year’s 8 percent).

“IGDA 2.0 will provide focused services to support the growing number of global lab-grown diamond companies,” Executive Director Dick Garard said.

“We have an aggressive strategic plan that begins with the involvement of the entire global lab-grown diamond industry, many longtime supporters and the welcome addition of newer, younger members.”
