Las Vegas—Messika was in attendance at Las Vegas’ jewelry market week this year, with a new collection in tow.
The French maison headed by fourth-generation diamantaire Valerie Messika introduced its first unisex collection, called “My Move.”
Available in over 300 color combinations, the collection speaks to fashion’s current casual mood. It features leather bracelets with 18-karat gold or titanium and diamonds.
“My Move” has the ease and effortlessness of everyday wear, appropriate for either sex. Messika intends it to be completely customizable.
The company’s signature movable diamond is showcased on brightly colored leather and alligator straps, available in a variety of colors and sizes and even with an option to emboss names, monograms, or words of one’s choice.
The wide array of customization means “My Move” suits every style. A titanium setting, for example, could speak to a masculine consumer, while an 18-karat gold with diamond pave configuration is stylistically more feminine.
The entire range appeals to a new entry-level consumer and is inherently giftable, with a $1,190 to $2,230 retail price range.
Also new in the Messika world are additions to the “Lucky Move Color” collection.
Introduced to the U.S. market in fall 2020, Lucky Move Color marked Messika’s first foray into the colored gemstone world, featuring mother-of-pearl, lapis lazuli, turquoise, and malachite pieces, with each style still showcasing the brand’s signature movable diamond motif.
This year, the collection has expanded to rings, bracelets, and smaller sizes of the Lucky Move necklaces.
The collection starts at approximately $2,380 for a small-sized ring.
