The Women’s Jewelry Association (WJA) has elected Susan Chandler (pictured), chief merchandising officer for Citizen Watch America, as the new president-elect of its board of directors.
Chandler will take over the role in 2022. Jacqueline Cassaway currently serves as the group’s president. She has served as president since 2020, and was chosen as president-elect in 2019.
As chief marketing officer, Chandler oversees all of Citizen’s watch brands.
She has also worked for Frederick Goldman, Scott Kay, David Yurman, Gemvara, and Avon Products.
Joining WJA’s 2021 board is Beth Gerstein, CEO of Brilliant Earth; Dr. Raquel Alonso-Perez, curatrix of the Mineralogical and Geological Museum at Harvard University; and Matthew Tratner, director, global business development at GIA.
